Steps To Take Regarding DomainSponsor / Rook / Smartname Changes

We would like to clarify two important steps you need to take in response to the DomainSponsor / Rook / Smartname changes announced today.

The first step involves your Above.com AutoPilot account.

Since DomainSponsor / Rook / Smartname stats will now be combined, you only need either DomainSponsor or Rook enabled in your AutoPilot account.

If you have both DomainSponsor and Rook enabled in your AutoPilot account, please login and uncheck the “Enable” box for one of them.

  • Go to your “Accounts” page and click “Edit” for either DomainSponsor or Rook. Then uncheck the “Enable” checkbox.
  • This will prevent duplication of stats in your AutoPilot account.

If you only have one of them currently enabled, either DomainSponsor or Rook, then you do not need to do anything.

The second step involves information required by Smartname.

  • In the email from Smartname asking you to reset your password, it might be unclear what username they created for you. The username appears immediately in front of the password reset URL/link. So please make note of it because you will need it to finish the reset and login process at Smartname.
  • After resetting your password, login at Smartname and provide tax and payout details.

The good news is that you do not need to worry about adding any new account information into your Above.com account. We will continue to pull stats for either DomainSponsor or Rook, whichever one you decide to keep enabled.

Please feel free to contact us via online chat or by email with any questions. We’re happy to help.
