On the same day as his death the domain name InMemoryOfAlexanderMcQueen.com was registered and then placed on eBay for US $1,000,000. This auction was listed at 10:11am; just hours after Lee McQueen’s death was reported.

Following this trend five other Alexander McQueen inspired domain names were also listed on online auction site, eBay.com. All of the below domain names were created on the 11th, 12th or 13th of February, just days after the international designer’s death.

Watch your TLD’s when buying domains
