Verisign released registration numbers for geo-oriented new gTLDs in their December 2015 Domain Industry Brief. Below are the top 5 new gTLDs with a geographic focus.

- BERLIN @ 68k
- LONDON @ 65k
- TOKYO @ 39k
- BAYERN @ 30k
It is interesting to note that there were only 532k geo-oriented new gTLDs registrations at the end of September 2015 versus 138M cc TLD registrations.
