At the ICANN 40 meeting that concluded March 18th in San Francisco, The
Board approved .XXX as a new top-level domain. The Board supported an
agreement with ICM Registry to run the .XXX registry. The approval
grants ICM Registry’s .XXX web suffix with the same rights as .com,
.net, .co.uk and other TLDs.
