3 Letter Domains

As a short name is worth a lot more than a longer one, it may be tempting to buy any very short name available.

However, this does not mean any short combination of letters is worth millions of dollars.

As always the value will depend largely on the demand. And buyers are, before all, looking for names that have a meaning.

A 3 letter domain is a good buy if it means something to one, or even better, several potential buyers.

IFA.com is worth a lot because it stands for Independent Financial Advisor and there are a few thousands of them in the UK alone.

On the other hand, XZW.com is a lot more obscure…

A random 3 letter .com domain usually sells for around $3000 to $5000 while domains with a well known meaning will go for much higher amounts.
