Above.com uses the Trellian Escrow Service for domains, which is a fast, safe, affordable and professional solution to buy and sell domain names. Escrow protects both buyers and sellers by making sure that domain names bought and sold are transferred to the buyers and payments are received by the sellers.

How does Above.com Escrow work?

Above acts as a independent party that facilitates a safe transaction between the seller and buyer. The steps involved are:

1. Both Seller and Buyer agree to the Escrow terms
2. Buyer sends payment to Trellian Escrow Account
3. Seller transfers Domain name to Above Escrow Registrar account
4. Above transfers the Domain name to the Buyer's Above Registrar account
5. Trellian Escrow sends payment to Seller
6. Transaction is complete

Accepted Payment Methods

Above Escrow accepts Bank Wire, Visa and MasterCard payments. Trellian Escrow however reserves the right to refuse any listed payment in specific cases or to request for verification documentation as needed to ensure that potential fraud is minimized. We appreciate your understanding if requested to provide specific verification documentation.

What are the Escrow Fees?

The greater of 10% of the transaction value or US$50.00 minimum fee. The payment of Escrow fees can be paid by the Buyer or Seller as agreed.
