There are several approaches:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can expand vertically. In this case you focus on a specific subject and try to get as many related domains as possible. For instance, you could target the travel industry or the wedding industry. <\/li>\n<li>You can expand horizontally. With this approach you try to cover as many industries as possible but with a similar approach. For instance only one-word .com domains.<\/li>\n<li>You can focus on a price range. Buying only premium names may be the approach you prefer or you may want to have a large portfolio of domains you bought for the reg fee.<\/li>\n<li>You can focus on traffic. For instance you would add to your portfolio only domains reaching a certain level of traffic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What you choose is critical as it will define the image you project to the world and the time of customers you will contact.
