As dot com domains become more scarce, the value of generic domain
\nnames rapidly climbs; many shorter generic domains selling for several

I often wonder if this value increase will continue at this rate, or
\nif, as new TLD’s (top-level domains) are created, the focus on dot
\ncom’s will decrease.<\/p>\n
But, what if domain names become obsolete?<\/b><\/p>\n
\nThere are millions upon millions of websites on the internet. Do you
\never find yourself typing ebay<\/i> into your browsers search box,
\nrather than going to the effort of those four extra keystrokes, to add .com<\/i>
\nto the end?<\/p>\n
Remembering all the websites you use is near impossible. If you’re not
\nthe kind of person that uses bookmarks, remembering whether the URL
\nends in .net<\/i> or .tv<\/i> can sometime be frustrating. <\/p>\n
I believe that, with the constantly-improving search engine technology
\nand the scarcity of domain names, domain names will eventually become
\nunimportant and practically obsolete – Search engines will be the only
