{"id":166,"date":"2012-01-19T12:11:14","date_gmt":"2012-01-19T12:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.above.com\/blog\/?p=166"},"modified":"2013-10-17T20:54:07","modified_gmt":"2013-10-17T09:54:07","slug":"bodis-confirms-buyout-of-namepros-domain-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.above.com\/blog\/bodis-confirms-buyout-of-namepros-domain-forum","title":{"rendered":"Bodis confirms buyout of NamePros domain forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodis.com\/\">Bodis<\/a>&nbsp;confirmed it has purchased the popular domain forum <a href=\"http:\/\/www.namepros.com\/\">NamePros<\/a> after the story was scooped on&nbsp;the <a href=\"http:\/\/domaingang.com\/domain-news\/breaking-bodis-buys-namepros-domain-forum\/\">DomainGang<\/a> blog. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Bodis owner Matt Wegrzyn posted that there would be &#8220;lots of improvements coming to NamePros&#8221; and that &#8220;the forum will continue to be open to everyone, even competitors of Bodis to post and advertise&#8221;. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>NamePros founder, Ron James, also confirmed and posted &#8220;Yes, I have struck a deal with Matt of Bodis. We are under nondisclosure agreement so I&#8217;m not sure what I can or cannot say about the deal we have in place but I will put out there that with better funding and infostructure, NamePros can only go up from here. The technical side has been a real challenge for me the past year. Hopefully this means no more downtime, slow pages or database crashes. I am staying on board as Administrator with my co-Administrator Michelle.
