Manage Folders
The Manage Folders page allows you to change various settings for each folder, export domain lists, add / remove domains and add / remove folders.
Manage Folders
To create a new folder:
- Click the Add Folder button

- Enter a name for the new folder in the Name field.
Note: Only alpha-numeric characters are allowed (no spaces or symbols).
- Click the Create Folder button to create the new folder.
To delete a folder:
- Click the Delete link next to the folder you want to remove.
Removing Folders
- A confirmation will be shown. Click the OK if you are sure you want to delete the folder.
Note: If there are domains in the deleted folders, they will not be removed from your account - they will be automatically moved to the (DEFAULT) folder.
To add / remove domains from a folder:
- Click the Edit link next to the folder you want to edit.

- Enter the domains you want to add or remove from the current folder in the Enter domain name(s) field.
- Click the Add Domains or Remove Domains button.
Notes:
- If you remove domains from the (DEFAULT), the domains will be deleted from your account.
- If you remove domains from a folder (other than (DEFAULT), the domains will be moved to the (DEFAULT) folder.
- If you add domains already in (DEFAULT) to another folder, the domains will be moved from (DEFAULT) folder to your new folder.

Service
When the Auto Optimizer is disabled, you can select the service to use with domains in this folder.
You can select Custom to redirect domains in this folder to a custom URL (see Redirect URL below) or, Blank to show a blank page.
After you have made your selection, make sure to click the Change button to save your changes.

Redirect URL
This feature allows you to redirect all traffic to domains in a folder to a certain URL.
You can even use this feature to direct traffic in a particular folder to a parking service not supported by Above.com.
Tip: You can use the $D variable to automatically insert the domain into the custom URL.
Lock the folder
When the folder lock option is ticked, domains can not be moved out of the folder. When locked, any domain move operation will fail, or require a manual confirmation.
