"How much is it worth ?" This is a recurrent question from people new to the domain aftermarket and the answer is not very straightforward.
There are some basic rules such as the shorter the better or a .com is worth more than a .net but to know how much you can get when selling a domain is very difficult.
The reason is simple: a domain name is worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it.
You can make lots of money with only one sell, simply because you were talking to the right person at the right time: they had the money and wanted this exact domain now.
In that respect what a domain is worth is a useless piece of information. What is important is how you can find the right buyer.
